Meat Raffle Successful

VP Bryan Baxter has asked me to pass on to the membership that the Holiday Turkey Raffle held on Saturday Nov. 15th. was not only a great success but a great time.

He also wishes to thank all of the members who worked so hard to make everything go so smoothly.

Dues Are Due

I've been asked to let you know that it is once again dues time. The dues are $30 for both perspective and full members. You only have until Dec. 31st. to get them in.

If you miss the deadline there is a $10 assessment that you have to pay if you want to renew your membership. So get it out of the way early, make thing easy on Jack and make sure you don't waste $10!

Kid's Christmas Party

The Kid's Christmas Party will be held on Sat. Dec. 20th. from 1 PM to 4 PM at the club. If you have kids or grandkids you would like to attend you need to sign up at the club. If the kids aren't on the sign up sheet there won't be presents for them. So get down to the club, sign up the kids and buy a Christmas Tree to help the unfortunate.

Helping Hands Committee

The "Helping Hands Committee" has kicked off it's annual donation drive to help needy families for the holidays.

You can help by stopping down to the club and buying a 'Santa Clause' for $1, a 'Snowman' for $5 or a 'Christmas Tree' for $10. Not to mention that you get to have a drink and talk with friends you haven't seen in a while. Please support this worthwhile venture!

NASCAR's Over--Party

There was some confusion about the date and time of the NASCAR party. Due to scheduling conflicts the date of the party had to be changed.

The party will now be held on Sunday, 11/30/2008 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Everyone who was part of the NASCAR pool is invited to come. I didn't get all of the specifics but I know in past years there was a lot of great food, prizes and some free drinks. I'm not promising that this time, but if you paid every week all year you should come down and have some fun.
